Ukrainians have long learned to find cheaper alternatives abroad
From children’s clothing to household items and inexpensive appliances! millions of people order goods every month that are simply not available in the country or that cost many times more here. (This! by the way! is a separate issue: maybe it is worth protecting people! not retail! which triples the prices of items from the conditional “Aliexpress” or “Tema”?) If these goods are taxed now! Ukrainians separation into standard and unique stages will lose one of the few opportunities to save in times of economic hardship.
And so far we see no signs of an increase in the wealth of the average Ukrainian! and not those Ukrainians who help car dealers set records for car sales during the war. Can we afford such innovations in the current conditions? Economically and azb directory for the sake of filling the budget – no doubt. But does the government have the moral right to deprive Ukrainians of access to cheaper goods and things? The poverty level remains critically high! so the introduction of taxes on parcels looks first and foremost like a blow to ordinary citizens.
