An AI influencer or virtual influencer is a digitally created influencer. Of course, there is a digital creator ‘behind’ the account who continuously creates all the content. The content is used to fill social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and build a fan base. As a company, you can enter into a partnership with such an account, just like with real-life influencers.
Benefits of a Virtual Influencer
First of all, the advantages. Why is it a good idea to choose a virtual influencer over a real life influencer? 6 advantages: What is an AI influen
1. Never physically present
An obvious advantage: virtual influencers never have to be physically present. Although I have to make a side note here: overseas data it is of course possible that you develop a live concept where the digital creator has to get to work on content creation on the spot, but we will leave that out of consideration for this advantage (because you can also plan ahead).
Where you can have an appointment with a real life influencer at a location, for example to take photos or a video, you do not have to make these kinds of appointments with a virtual influencer. The entire image is generated digitally, or the virtual influencer is processed into an existing image. Physical presence is therefore not necessary.
In addition to travel costs for the influencer and others who need to be present on location during a shoot, this also saves on the costs of the photographer, decor, lighting, catering and perhaps even a hotel stay.
Maarten Reijgersberg (director of RAUWcc) has had his own virtual influencer made for his company. He tells NOS : “It started with a real model on european union phone number location that we photographed. Creating an image then takes a working day of hours. We have now trained an AI model. It takes less than half a minute to generate a new image.” This saves a considerable amount of time and money.

2. More time for other things
Because many actions take less time, there is more time for other interesting things. Think of direct communication the problem is that this is one of the hardest skills with the target group, for example. A real life influencer probably does not do this or hardly does this. Creating content already takes a lot of time, and then having to read and answer all the DMs personally…
